Although it got much friendlier in Florence and Venice, Rome gave me a really bad impression. "gimme your documents!" "You pay 50euros now, or pay 100 euros later!" These evil comments from the blood-thirsty vampires plus rude bus drivers, and shop owners from rip-off stalls.... totally screws it up man...
France was much nicer... nicer trains, nicer people... so much more friendly... though they're really crazy people... Get lost, ask... can't speak french? use hand language... end it all with merci, au revoir... that's France for you.

Bustling with tourist, this home to the holy roman empire sucks big time... haha... imo.
4 jovial tourists enthusiastic to see the Vatican city met up with 4 idiotic bus conductors. Apparently bus no.40 was their favourite hang-out place and we were their breakfast. Who the hell fines poor tourist 50 euros for not validating their ticket? I mean,... we bought our tickets, not like we didn't have a ticket each... no second chance at all... straight to the slaughter house...

Travel is intensified living.
That's my exact sentiments here. After only 2 and a half days, we're done with rome... for now... Leaving behind unforgettable memories and 1 gig full of photos for me.

i shall be the 2nd person to write on this blog. poor marc, started the blog all by himself and then contributed to all the first 5 entries. hee. our 4 frens who left last night were probably too busy and caught up with saying goodbyes and packing to write in our blog, so when u guys settle down wherever u are, head to a internet cafe and blog about all your experiences ya?
i have to start my packing as well. in less than a week i will be flying off with my parents to US to attend my bro's convo. sigh. will be stuck in penn for awhile. aniwae gwen n joanie, i forgot that i have to wear formal for my bro's convo, so i may be bringing along some dresses to europe. i'll most prob have to ask my parents to bring back my high heels for me though. then after that i'll be flying off to barcelona to meet up with u all, and starting my europe grad trip!
pretty excited, but then again, not so yet. i just had the last exam in my university life yesterday. wow. i'm old. damn. now still in the holidaying mood. once i get back from our europe escapade, i'll have to face reality that i've graduated, i'm old, and i have to find a job. sigh..
so aniwae, for the next week, i'll be bz meeting up with frens who suddenly realized i'm flying off for a month, packing my room cos my couz is coming to stay while i'm away, and fretting about packing my luggage and probably do it last minute and forget to bring something. hee.
alrighty, hope u all who are not in singapore now are enjoying yourselves. take lotsa photos! see u all soon. real soon. take care...

Joanie best expresses my feeling now... jumpy, jumpy jumpy. Yupz.
anyway, some of my friends tell me my ibook follows me wherever I go. They've proven right again. After much ado and contemplation, I've decided to lug my 2.2kg laptop across half of western Europe. I'll be damned. my bag now weighs a hefty 11Kg... well, the laptop is only 1/5 the weight of the bag... hehe...
